Performance at a Glance


A total of 710,363 students registered for the exam across 5,174 colleges. Out of these, 632,200 students actually appeared, with 546,698 successfully clearing the examination.


Stream-wise Success Rates


The Science stream continues its streak of dominance, while the Arts stream has shown the most significant year-on-year improvement.

Gender & Region Analysis


  • Girls vs. Boys: Girls have once again secured a higher pass percentage at 88.70%, compared to 83.65% for boys.

  • Rural vs. Urban: Interestingly, rural students outperformed their urban counterparts, recording a pass rate of 87.62% against 85.95% in cities.

  • Top District: Udupi has emerged as the top-performing district in the state with a 93.90% pass rate.




 Meet the Toppers


The board has highlighted exceptional performances across all three streams:

  • Commerce: Adithi A Bapu (SB Mahaveer Jain PU) and Disha (Alva's PU College) both secured a perfect 600/600.

  • Science: Princilla Cardoza (The Learning Centre) topped the stream with 599/600.

  • Arts: The stream saw a massive recovery, with its pass percentage rising from 53.29% last year to nearly 73% this year.




Important Dates for Exam-2


Under the state's three-exam policy, students who wish to improve their scores or those who did not pass Exam-1 have a second chance immediately.


  • Exam-2 Commencement: April 30, 2026

  • Exam-2 Conclusion: May 13, 2026

  • Revaluation Application: The window for re-totaling and scanned copy applications will open within the next 48 hours on the KSEAB website.
