While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet released a specific "result day," historical trends and the current evaluation timeline suggest the following windows:

  • UMANG App: Available on Android and iOS, this app provides a "CBSE" service section for quick result viewing.

  • On-Screen Marking (OSM): This year, CBSE has significantly expanded its digital evaluation system. Answer sheets are scanned and marked on-screen by teachers to minimize calculation errors and speed up the process.

  • No "Toppers List": Continuing its policy to reduce academic pressure, CBSE is unlikely to release an official merit list or announce "Toppers." However, it will provide the overall pass percentage and regional statistics.

  • Passing Criteria: Students must secure at least 33% in both internal assessments and the board theory exams to be declared "Pass.

What Happens After the Result?


  1. Verification & Re-evaluation: If you aren't satisfied with your marks, a window for "Verification of Marks" usually opens within 5–7 days of the result declaration.

  2. Compartment Exams: Students who fail to clear one or two subjects can appear for the Supplementary Exams, typically scheduled for July 2026.

  3. Original Marksheets: The online result is provisional. You must collect your physical marksheet and passing certificate from your respective school approximately 15 days after the online announcement.


Pro-Tip: Keep your Admit Card safe! Even after the results are out, you will need the details on it for college registrations and entrance exams like CUET, JEE, or NEET.
