Topper Verification & Rewards

The BSEB is currently conducting physical topper verification at its Patna headquarters. This process involves calling high-scoring students for interviews and re-evaluating their copies to ensure transparency.

  • Medha Diwas (Dec 3): Toppers will be honored on this day.

  • Prizes: Top rankers can receive cash prizes up to ₹2 lakh, along with laptops and Kindle e-readers.

Passing Criteria & Scrutiny

To clear the examinations, a student must secure at least 33% marks in each subject.

  • Scrutiny: Students unhappy with their marks can apply for "Scrutiny" (re-evaluation) shortly after the results.

  • Compartment Exams: For those who fail in one or two subjects, the board will conduct Compartment Exams in April/May 2026 to help them save their academic year.
