How to Check Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2026 Online


Students can follow these simple steps to access their marksheet:


  1. Visit the official Karnataka results website: karresults.nic.in.

  2. On the homepage, click the link titled "2nd PUC Examination-1 Result 2026."

  3. Enter your 11-digit Registration Number and select your Subject Stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts).

  4. Click on the "Submit" button.

  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout for provisional use.


Alternative Ways to Get Your Results

To prevent delays caused by heavy website traffic, the board has provided multiple alternative platforms:

  • SMS Service: Type KAR12<Registration Number> and send it to 56263.

  • DigiLocker: For the first time, digital marks cards will be available for download on digilocker.gov.in starting at 3 PM on result day.

  • WhatsApp: The board will also send results directly to the registered mobile numbers of students.



New Passing Criteria for 2026

This year, the Karnataka government has introduced a significant change to the grading system. The minimum passing marks for 2nd PUC have been reduced from 35% to 30% in each subject. However, students must still maintain an overall aggregate of 33% to be declared successful.

  • Science: 2.92 Lakh students

  • Commerce: 2.11 Lakh students

  • Arts: 1.42 Lakh students

What’s Next After the Results?

If you are not satisfied with your scores, the KSEAB will open the window for revaluation and scanned copy applications shortly after the announcement. Additionally, dates for Exam 2 (Supplementary/Improvement) will be notified for those who wish to improve their percentages or clear failed subjects.


Important Note: The online result is provisional. Students are advised to collect their original marks cards from their respective colleges once issued by the board.
