BSP declares all 80 LS candidates in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: (IANS) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Thursday released the names of party candidates for all the 80 Lok Sabha (LS) seats from Uttar Pradesh.

Bollywood fails to capitalize on horror genre: Jimmy Shergil

New Delhi: Jimmy Shergill, who is playing lead role in horror film "Darr @ The Mall", feels that Bollywood has not been able to capitalize on horror genre. Talking to Sanchar Express, after the release of the movie on Friday, the actor said that he feels that there’s good scope for it India.

“There is a dearth of filmmakers who can do justice to the horror genre. There is a big of such films not only in India but across the globe,” he said.


Network18 Media reports Rs 11.72 crore loss in December quarter

New Delhi: Network18 Media & Investment on Monday reported a consolidated loss of Rs 11.72 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 6.84 crore for the October-December quarter last fiscal.

However, consolidated net income of the company increased to Rs 727.59 crore during October-December 2013, as against Rs 697.40 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.


Patna, Bodh Gaya blasts: NIA not sharing information, alleges Ranchi Police

Ranchi: The NIA, which has detained persons from here in connection with the blasts in Patna and Bodh Gaya, has been accused of not sharing information about the same with the Ranchi Police.

The NIA has refused to divulge information about the persons they had detained from Ranchi for interrogation in connection with the two blasts, a senior IPS officer said on condition of anonymity.
