Supreme Court stays proceedings of panel probing judge's sexual harassment

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Friday stayed the probe into allegations of sexual harassment by a former Gwalior district judge against a sitting judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

The composition of the committee, set up by the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, was objected to by the woman judge saying that it included a judge who had transferred her out of Gwalior.

SpiceJet offers discounted tickets in three states

New Delhi: Carrying on with its low-fare offers, SpiceJet has now started giving limited-period discounted tickets to flyers from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
   
The no-frill airline today came up with a three-day, region-wise special discount offer for travel originating from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tuticorin, Rajahmundry, Tirupati and Kolkata.

SC appreciates SIT probe in Gujarat riot cases

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Thursday expressed satisfaction over probes by the Special Investigation Team in nine cases related to the 2002 riots in Gujarat post Godhra.

The bench of Justice H.L. Dattu, Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai and Justice M.Y. Eqbal appreciated the work done by the SIT headed by former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director R.K. Raghvan as it perused the SIT's Feb 27 status report.
