Poonam Pandey says Google banned her app 

Mumbai: Actress Poonam Pandey says her newly launched app, which she promised would have "bold" content, has been banned by Google.

"I don't know why. I see many adult magazines on Play Store and App Store. It's interesting that on one hand Google Play Store is suspending the app and on the other some fans are 'complaining' that I am not even nude in the photos," Poonam said. She unveiled the app on Monday.

Jacqueline wants to play Captain Planet

New Delhi: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez played the damsel in distress in the 2016 superhero film "A Flying Jatt". Now, she wants to take a step forward and be a superhero herself. She wants to gain powers of Captain Planet to make the environment "safer, greener and cleaner".

"If I could be a superhero, I would love to be Captain Planet. He is one superhero I have grown up watching and always loved the fact that with everything he did, he was making the environment safer, greener and a cleaner space," Jacqueline told IANS in an interview.

Sonu Nigam calls azaan 'forced religiousness'

Mumbai: Renowned singer Sonu Nigam has lashed out at "forced religiousness" in India after being woken up by the azaan (Islamic call to prayer) from a nearby mosque.

"God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India," Nigam posted on Twitter on Monday.

Mumbai: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has a strong lineup of films this year, says that its a great feeling to be busy.

"From the longest time, I wanted to keep myself busy by working in films and releasing them. It's a really good feeling when you see yourself busy by doing your choice of work," the actress told reporters on the sidelines of the red carpet of Colors Golden Petal Awards in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Mumbai: A poster of filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" in IMAX formet was unveiled here on Wednesday ahead of the movie's worldwide release on April 28.

The poster was unveiled here in the presence of director Rajamouli, cinematographer Senthil Kumar, Walt Cho, Director - Marketing and Distribution, Asia Pacific, IMAX Corporation and Alok Tandon, CEO, INOX Leisure Ltd.
